It's a 1999 Gulfstream on a Ford E450 Chassis, with a 6.8 liter V10 that has 54,000 miles.
I put this up for sale a few months back with the trailer included, but there was some water damage that was so-so when I parked it, which turned out to be pretty significant after sitting for a year, so I just removed the post.
The damage wasn't caused by a leaking roof. In fact, there was a new rubber roof membrane installed a few years before I bought it. The roof is solid everywhere and does not leak at all. The damage was caused by an exterior shower connection leaking under the sink, for about a month. Unfortunately, it went unnoticed because we weren't around. So the interior wall, between the 2 slides, from the kitchen window down, will all need to be replaced because the lauan is all but disintegrated. The floor is soft inside next to the sink. This is not a small project, but a doable one. And I'm saying that from experience, because I've already fixed a similar issue on the passenger side rear of this RV (see photos).
My wife and I repainted the entire inside, removed the original couch and table, and replaced them with brand new ones. I'm probably going to take the replacement table seen in the photos, and give the original table set up to the buyer.
The AC, Generator, Heater, Water Pump, Hot Water Heater and slides all worked when we parked it. But I can only test the slides because they run off 12vt, and the generator isn't starting. And the slides works just fine.
The original awning tore off rather aggressively in a NC gale a few years back, and like a newbie RV owner that I was, I left it down while out of town.
I have a complete used replacement awning and awning frame that I will include with the RV.
And don't let the photos deceive you, she's a lot uglier than my photos make her out to be. It's a lot like me; doesn't look too bad from a distance, but not so great up close.
The slide awnings are still intact, but are starting to tear a little on the corners, but still keep water out.
There was substantial work done to the interior of the above cab section before I bought it, and was completely rebuilt using 1/2'' nylon, and is very solid.
The exterior shell is starting to separate above the cab, and is touching the top of the cab. This doesn't leak inside or really affect anything, I'm just listing everything I can think of.
The tires are good, the driver and passenger windows, mirrors and electric seat all work. There's plenty of heat, but there's no dash AC.
The buyer must be a NH resident, because here in NH a 1999 vehicle is title exempt, so the DMV never even issued a title when my wife registered it. I have the original title from when we bought it, but the DMV said a new title would cost $50 and would take about 6 weeks to get it, so here we are.
I really can't think of anything else off hand, but it is a 1999.
It's in storage in Berwick, so if you want to go and take a look for yourself, just contact me and I'll give you the address.
We bought another RV, so I know I won't do the work to fix it, and I have no interest in perpetually paying for storage. I can either cut my losses now, or lose what value is still there by paying $75 a month for the storage indefinitely.
I'm a very pleasant person, but I really don't have any interest in meeting up with dozens of people to look at it. Just swing on down to take a look her, and if you want, make me an offer. I have 2 weeks before the next month's storage bill is due, so I'll take the best offer before then.
You can make an offer on both or just the RV, but I'm not looking to sell the trailer by itself.
First $1,500 takes it.
If the ad is still up, it's still for sale.
So there you have it in a nutshell. Make an offer, and this cream-puff can be yours!
